With everything shifting online, it’s becoming increasingly harder to capture our audience’s attention. This course shows how quizzes and games are the perfect solution to this problem, by keeping people engaged through interactivity, and promoting involvement and collaboration whether the team is operating online or offline. With a special focus on eLearning, Quizzes and Games acknowledges the strengths and weaknesses of different learners, and offers a program that follows the latest eLearning trends, and caters for these differences.
Module one introduces the concept of eLearning within the context of today’s learning environment, and presents the most popular trends in eLearning. It covers Cloud Based authoring tools, and mobile, and collaborative learning. You will learn about the importance of presenting lessons with a bite-sized mindset, and how translation and localization can increase reach and understanding.
Module two will identify the benefits of using gamification within learning, as well as how to tackle any challenges that may arise. It will focus on structuring lesson plans around different learning styles, whether this is visual, auditory, or kinesthetic.
Module three offers a list of different games and quizzes that are available to incorporate into lesson plans . Each tool contains a short description, as well as a step-by-step tutorial on how to use controls and features.
Module four builds on the previous module by adding on even more tools that can be used to encourage interactivity amongst students. The selection of games and quizzes have been specifically chosen due to their level of performance and efficiency within eLearning platforms.
The final module encourages reflection on the modules covered, and how by identifying your strengths and weaknesses in the application of interactivity within lesson plans, you can build and improve your eLearning platform. Here, you will be ask to complete the final assessment of the course.

Her specialisation focuses on harnessing your inner self-confidence and projecting this to whichever audience you are presenting to, making sure you have their attention by focusing on their needs. Her open and vivid style of presenting has netted her with a lot of opportunities on a European scale in presenting a variety of topics and events – from being the hostess of a large European Conference in Vienna focusing on SMEs, to pitching for funding for investors in Finland, and even an interview on European TV channel Euronews on her story as a business angel in their Business Planet programme. Angele has lectured over 2000 adults in skills relating to communication, ICT, entrepreneurship, storytelling, innovation, and more. Angele is one of the main trainers of www.trainingmalta.com and is also the entrepreneur behind AcrossLimits Ltd.
Conner Church
Conner possesses a broad educational background. Having graduated with a B.A. in Criminology and an M.A. in European Legal Studies, Conner’s research has focused on the taboos of mental illness and legislation relating to minority groups. Namely, his postgraduate dissertation (entitled “Maltese Implementation and Enforcement of EU Directive 2009/52”) analysed Maltese and other Member States’ transpositions of a directive concerning the sanctioning of employers of unregistered third-country nationals. Conner has also trained as an educator and is thus very interested in the promotion of youth issues. During his time as a student, he served as part of the Criminology Students’ Association (CSA) as Public Relations Officer. Conner graduated from the University of Malta in November 2019 and is one of the newest additions to the AcrossLimits team as Creative Content Writer and Junior Project Executive.
